3/7/12: Ocean Shores - Western Grebe.

First time I've witnessed a grebe walking or standing.

The grebe was stranded a couple hundred yards from the surf and the tide was still going out. He walked for awhile (a couple times), but was just too far away. He then plopped down to wait for incoming tide. He looked healthy enough, but did not seem to want to fly.
