The event occurred in Juanita Bay Park on 4/7/14. The Red-tailed Hawk swooped down from the perch as I was taking its picture. It caught a snake at my feet and took it to another branch very close by. Eventually, a Red-winged Blackbird took offense and started dive-bombing it.
